The InPowered® philosophy

What does InPowered® mean — and how is it different from empowered?

Empowerment is power given by others — a boss, a title, an organization. It creates dependency because what others give, others can take away. InPowered® is power generated from within. It's built on self-trust, internal resources, and a clear sense of one's own agency — including awareness of the systems one operates in.

The distinction matters profoundly in coaching: before someone can be truly empowered by others, they must first be InPowered® within themselves. This is why the InPowered® philosophy aligns so deeply with Co-Active coaching and ICF core competencies — both are fundamentally about helping clients access their own wisdom and agency.

How does InPowered® relate to CTI Co-Active coaching?

CTI Co-Active coaching is built on the belief that clients are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole. InPowered® is built on the same foundation - that the source of real, lasting change is always within the person.

The difference is context. Co-Active gives coaches powerful tools for individual transformation. InPowered® adds the organizational layer: the business structures, engagement frameworks, and system awareness and connection into the engagements to support strategic, systemic, and sustainable impact into corporate and organizational settings effectively.

Is InPowered® a certification program recognized by ICF?

Yes. The InPowered® Executive Coach Certification is ICF-approved and awards 40 Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEUs) — 23 Core Competency hours and 17 Resource Development hours towards the renewal of ACC, PCC, and MCC Credentials. Completing the certification also earns you a digital badge.

This certification is designed for coaches who are already trained (CTI, ICF, or equivalent) and want to expand their expertise to include organizational coaching specifically.

I'm already a CTI- or ICF-certified coach. Do I need to re-learn everything?

Not at all. InPowered® frameworks are designed to complement your existing training — not replace it. Your coaching skills are already strong. What InPowered® adds is the organizational context: how to position yourself with corporate buyers, how to structure engagements that deliver measurable ROI, how to navigate organizational systems, and how to build the kind of client relationships that lead to 100% re-engagement.

What is the Quantum 360® process?

Quantum 360® is Ann Farrell's proprietary 360-degree feedback process, developed and refined over 20 years of organizational coaching. Unlike survey-based 360s, Quantum 360® is interview-based and closed-loop — meaning stakeholders provide structured verbal feedback, and the process brings that feedback back to the leader in a way that creates real accountability and forward momentum. Its closed-loop as it also includes a Growth Assessment at the end of the engagement as well.

It positions the coach as a strategic partner rather than a data collector, and gives organizations the measurable leadership development ROI they expect from a coaching engagement.

What is the InPowered® Corporate Coach product?

InPowered® Corporate Coach is Ann's flagship product — a complete organizational coaching engagement framework. It includes 35+ hours of training across 6 modules, a 120+ document vault covering everything from intake and contracting to progress reporting and engagement close, and a lifetime single-user license.

It's what allows coaches to walk into an organizational conversation on day one and speak from authority — because the proven 20-year methodology is behind them.

What is the difference between the Corporate Coach product and the Executive Coach Certification?

The InPowered® Corporate Coach is a complete engagement system — tools, frameworks, and training you use directly with organizational clients. The Executive Coach Certification is the ICF-approved credential that validates your expertise in organizational coaching and awards 40 CCEUs.

Many coaches invest in both: Corporate Coach gives them the methodology to use with clients; the Certification gives them the mentoring through learning and gaining confidence in how to use the process as we as the Certfied Executive Coach designation to the market.

What programs does the Full InPowered® Coach Suite include?

The Full InPowered® Coach Suite includes six products: InPowered® Corporate Coach, Leadership Coach, Onboarding Coach, Team Coach, Quantum 360®, and Coaching Take Out® as a bonus. It's the complete library for coaches who want to work across the full range of organizational coaching contexts — from individual executive coaching to team engagements to onboarding new leaders.

What is the Quantum D.A.R.E. Method?

The Quantum D.A.R.E. Method is Ann's 8-step business-building framework for coaches building organizational practices. D stands for Dream — living your great life doing your greatest work. A stands for Accelerate — becoming a Partner, not a Vendor. R stands for Relate — Serve, don't Sell. E stands for Enroll — focusing on Needs, not Niche.

The full method is taught across the FastTrack program suite, with different programs covering different steps depending on where you are in your practice-building journey.

Where do I start if I'm brand new to organizational coaching?

The best starting point is Ann's free Business Assessment. It's designed to show you exactly where you are now — what's working, what's missing, and what your most direct path into organizational work looks like.

From there, the Why You For Who With What® workshop ($47) is the fastest way to get clear on your positioning, and the FastTrack Business Builder ($397) takes you through the full 8-step D.A.R.E. Method at your own pace.

What is the FastTrack Business Builder program?

The FastTrack Business Builder is a self-paced online program that walks you through all 8 steps of the Quantum D.A.R.E. Method. It's designed for coaches who want to build or rebuild their organizational practice on a proven framework, at their own pace. At $397, it's the most comprehensive self-directed program in the FastTrack suite.

How is the From Coach to CEO Accelerator different from the FastTrack Business Builder?

The FastTrack Business Builder is self-paced — you work through the 8 steps on your own timeline. The From Coach to CEO Accelerator is live with Ann — five labs where Ann teaches, coaches, and works directly with participants on their specific practice-building challenges.

If you want the structure of a guided, cohort-based experience with direct access to Ann, the Accelerator is the stronger choice.

What is the Results Now! 8-Week Experience?

Results Now! is Ann's flagship live group program — an 8-week cohort experience with Ann's hands-on mentoring. It's the highest-intensity program in the FastTrack suite and is designed for coaches who are serious about accelerating into organizational work quickly. Ann works directly with each participant on their positioning, their first organizational conversations, and their client engagement strategy.

What is the Coach Success MentorRing?

The Coach Success MentorRing is Ann's 12-month group mentoring program — the foundation of her ongoing support for coaches building organizational practices. You can join at any time. The MentorRing includes the InPowered® Corporate Coach product, group mentoring with Ann, and access to the MentorRing community of organizational coaches.

It's the program Ann recommends for coaches who want sustained, structured support over a full year.

What is the difference between the MentorRing, the SOAR CoachCircles, and the PartnerLIFTS® mastermind?

The MentorRing is the entry point — a 12-month group mentoring program open to all coaches building organizational practices. The Platinum SOAR CoachCircles is a small-group add-on to the MentorRing for coaches who want more intimate peer accountability alongside Ann's mentoring. PartnerLIFTS® is the alumni mastermind — for coaches who have completed MentorRing and are ready for a high-level, peer-driven growth experience.

Each tier builds on the previous one.

What does a 1:1 private client engagement with Ann look like?

Ann's 1:1 private client engagements run for either 3 or 12 months, with one or two sessions per month depending on your goals and pace. These engagements are for coaches who want direct, personalized mentoring from Ann on building or growing their organizational practice.

Ann has worked 1:1 with coaches and leaders for 20 years — with a 100% client re-engagement rate — and brings her full 30-year corporate experience and 20-year coaching methodology to every engagement.

What is the Island Time VIP Day?

The Island Time VIP Day is an in-person, full-day intensive with Ann on Hilton Head Island. It's designed for coaches who want Ann's undivided attention on a specific challenge or opportunity — whether that's building a practice from scratch, repositioning an existing practice, or strategizing a major next step.

The in-person VIP Day is $7,500; a virtual VIP Day option is available at $5,500.

What is the Platinum LIFT Accelerator?

The Platinum LIFT Accelerator is Ann's all-in 6-month program — the most intensive mentoring experience she offers outside of a 12-month private engagement. Over 6 months, Ann works closely with a small group of coaches on every aspect of building and scaling their organizational practice. It combines the depth of 1:1 work with the energy and accountability of a small cohort.

Practical & purchasing

Do I need to have an existing coaching practice to work with Ann?

No. Ann works with coaches at every stage — from newly certified coaches who are just deciding they want to work with organizations, to established coaches who want to deepen or reposition their existing practice. What matters most is that you have your coaching training (CTI, ICF, or equivalent) and that you're committed to building a sustainable organizational practice.

Ann's programs are specifically designed to compress the learning curve regardless of where you're starting.

How do payment plans work?

Most of Ann's programs and products offer installment payment options alongside the single-payment price. You'll see both options listed on each program page. The total investment is the same either way — payment plans simply allow you to spread the cost over time to make it easier to get started.

Do you offer refunds?

Because our programs deliver immediate digital access and materials upon purchase, all sales are final. I'm an internal coach, not a coach in private practice. Is Ann's work relevant to me?

Getting started with organizational coaching

How long does it take to build an organizational coaching practice?

It depends on where you're starting — but with the right framework, positioning, and support, most coaches begin landing organizational conversations within 90 days of getting clear on their approach.
